Job Description
Entry Level Associates are responsible for a wide range of duties and learn financial services
from the ground up. Entry Level Associates review financial documents,
track detailed information, research anomalies in data and records, and perform other
entry-level consulting and accounting functions. Additionally, Entry Level Associates work
closely with
our clients and their retirement plan participants to provide supportive services. This position
is about much more than just working with numbers, resolving cases, and answering client
questions -- it is about
helping people build a meaningful future. Having a client centric nature, excellent
communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of personality types are all
valuable to this role. In addition to their day-to-day duties, Entry Level Associates are
involved in professional education and development activities that enable them to grow
professionally. A working knowledge of general business practices, including business
organizations and structures, industry sectors, and business entity types is helpful. Entry
Level Associates work under general supervision with the discretion to manage their time and
resources. Entry Level Associates are expected to effectively manage their work independently
and recognize when they need to seek management assistance or input.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- processing client and participant requests;
- reviewing financial documents;
- tracking and verifying deposits;
- preparing financial statements;
- processing transactions;
- researching data anomalies; and
- reconciling financial information from different sources.
Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree, with preference for
business, accounting, finance, mathematics, information management, or related disciplines.
Annual Salary Range: $39,000 to $53,000
