Spectrum's COVID-19 Business Response

Dear Friends,

We hope you are doing well. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) increases its impact on our communities, we want to connect directly with you about the steps we are taking across our business.

Spectrum has adopted a "recommended work from home" policy. Spectrum's technology infrastructure is largely cloud-based, making this transition very easy for our staff members. Our websites are always available 24x7 and cover a variety of self-servicing needs. Our retirement plan management systems are healthy and monitored continuously. While web traffic volumes have been elevated, our systems remain well within normal operating ranges. We can easily scale these technology resources if needed.

The Participant Services Associates who manage Spectrum's Participant HelpLine utilize a leading cloud-based telecommunications system. This system enables our Associates to engage with plan participants regardless of an Associate's physical location. We monitor case volumes and cycle times toward case resolution, enabling us to scale the Participant HelpLine to meet increased demands as needed. You can rest assured that plan participant needs will be timely addressed.

Spectrum utilizes an industry leading electronic signature technology platform to execute most "signature required" documents. Administrative forms, agreements, plan documents, trust agreements, etc. can all be prepared, electronically routed, executed by applicable parties, and processed without any physical contact.

We instituted social distancing policies for individuals who must be present in Spectrum's office locations. These social distancing policies are consistent with recommendations from federal, state, and local health officials.

Meetings at our office locations will be available by appointment only for the next several weeks. Such appointments can be arranged directly through each Client Account Manager, our Sales Team, or our Corporate Services Team. Meetings can take place virtually, utilizing Spectrum's virtual meeting technology platform, or in-person.

Our principal priorities with these changes were twofold: (1) the health, safety, and security of Spectrum's Staff Members and (2) to continue serving the needs of our clients, professional advisors, and participants of workplace retirement plans. Thankfully, Spectrum is very well positioned to meet these priorities because of the significant investments we have made to our technology infrastructure over the years. We have great confidence in the future, but know the next few weeks will be incredibly challenging for many people. We are ready to help as we can. It is our privilege to serve you today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Sincerely,

Petros
